As the times change, it seems that the church now sings many wonderful worship choruses. I love praise and worship, but there is still something special about the old hymns. I spent quite some time looking at this book when I received it, just remembering all the Lord has done for me over the years, and how special certain songs are to me. This book not only has the accompanyment for each song, it also has the story of how and when the song came to be. A great gift! I'll have to order another for myself as I had intended to give this one to someone else!

This is a great collection of hymns I grew up with. Love this product and highly recommend as a valuable asset for a family keepsake. Beautifully written and bound, it is sure to be treasured for the next generation. My only negative is that is no longer being produced.

Years ago I bought this same book for me at a sale in the VA hosp. The last book I bought for friend who benefited from stories that inspired the song writers and their faith. Who knew?

Bought for my Mom. Works great for the piano. Large print and easy to read. More than satisfied.

This is a great book and really fills in the blanks, so to speak. We enjoy coming home from church and looking up the hymns from that morning and learning more about the song writer and the circumstances surrounding the hymn. More often than not it will lead to tears. I would recommend this to every Christian household.

Love this book! Not only do you have the actual music but you have the story behind the song!
